Questions

Need to clear a watermark first? Use the image watermark remover.

Is this image resizer free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark on your images and no limit on how many you resize.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Your browser does the resizing, so the files never leave your device.

What size should an Instagram post be?

1080 × 1080 pixels for a square post, 1080 × 1350 for portrait, and 1080 × 1920 for stories and reels. All three are built in.

What size is a YouTube thumbnail?

1280 × 720 pixels, which is also 16:9. Use the target-size setting to keep the file small.

How do I make an image smaller in KB?

Turn on "Target size" and pick a limit. The tool lowers the quality just enough to fit under it.

Will my picture be cut off?

No. By default the whole image is kept and the empty space is filled by extending the picture's own edges. You can also choose a blurred, white, black or transparent background, or switch to "Crop to fill" if you prefer.

Can I move the picture inside the frame?

Yes. Drag it on any preview, or use the Position setting. Double-click a preview to reset it.

Can I resize many images at once?

Yes. Add a batch, choose a size, then download them all as a ZIP.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes, in Chrome on Android and Safari on iPhone. Downloads open your share menu so you can save to your gallery.
